The Gangamai Education Trust’s Arts, Commerce and Science College, Nagaon, Tal./Dist.- Dhule was established in 1993. Nagaon is one of the developed village in the Dhule tehsil of Maharashtra, having population of more than 10,000 and majority of the resident are belonging to socially and economically backward classes. Nagaon is situated on Mumbai - Agra National Highway No. 3, 10 k.m. away from Dhule and is well connected by highway. The nearby railway station is Dhule.
The college is established with generous vision of the founder President, Late Hon‟ble Annasaheb Dattatrya Waman Patil, (Social worker and Ex-MLA, Shindkheda and Kusumba state assemblies) to impart quality in higher education to the rural and tribal students of the area.

Dr. Shripal Sabnis (Presedent, 89th Akhil Bhartiya Marathi Sahitya Sammelan- 2016) The legacy is continued with full spirit by the dynamic andyoung President of the Sanstha Hon‟ble Monahar Dattatraya Bhadane and other director board of management.
The College has been started with a vision to bring the students from rural and economically backward class in the mainstream of higher education. The College offers an opportunity to make students self-reliant and become responsible citizens of the country. The college is located in “Annasaheb D.W.Patil Shaikshanik Sankul,Nagaon” having 4.2 Acer area. The mission of the college is to sustain the unsustainable boys and girls’ students from the socially and economically backward society of area. The goal of the institution is “Aatmo Dipo Bhava”; the dictum by the “Gautam Budhha‟ means to enlight the spirit through education and to provide educational atmosphere for the weaker sections of society, by which make them social, moral, and economical independent.
The college and institution look forward to direct the mission towards achievement of goal and objectives. The college is affiliated to the North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon and recognized by UGC New-Delhi under Section 2(f) in Dec.-2005 and 12(B) in Feb-.2007, the college had gone through the first cycle of assessment and accreditation by NAAC, Bengaluru. It was accredited with C+ Grade in the first cycle. This year the college has proposed to go through assessment and reaccreditation by the NAAC, Benguluru.
The Gangamai Education Trust’s Arts, Commerce and Science College was reaccredited in 2nd Cycle as B++ Grade in 2016. Our college is one of the reputed institute in the region. Our college always welcome the students from rural, farmer and tribal areas who slightly away from the main flow of the education. Several of the student alumni of ourcollege achieves reputed posts jobs in various sectors.
Our college is permanently affiliated to Kavayitri Bahinabai Chaudhari North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon and recognized by Government of Maharashtra. Our college will be able to bring about constructive changes in teaching-learning process by making it more student-centric, carrier and research-oriented.
The College gives the various UG and PG courses in the faculties of Arts, Science and Commerce. The college has 1500+ students are enrolled every year. We have 22Teaching and10 Non-Teaching Staff members on roll in the college.Our college has 04 ScienceDepartments i.e Botany, Chemistry, Geography and Zoology of which 03 are postgraduate and 02 are research departments i.e. Botany and Geography.Our college is always trying to giveto quality educational facilities to the student of poor economic backgrounds. Our college also runs NCC and NSS units for overall development of the students and alternatively for the national empowerment.
